the council: a complete guide
« on: October 03, 2020, 06:53:19 AM »
this is a master guide to all things regarding the council of the supernatural and the punishments dealt.

a guide to the council
THE COUNCIL RULES
breaking any of these laws will result in consequences personally handed out by the council. these range from being called to face conviction by the council, personal harm equal to one's crimes, bounties placed on one's head, a hand-selected group hunting after the character, etcetera.
  • treaties. all peace treaties shall be honored. harming a creature under the protection of a treaty will result in severe consequences.
exposure. all supernaturals will not make a spectacle of themselves. revealing what you are, creating multiple public sightings, and leaving messes for the authorities to find, all fall under this clause. as the council likes to say: "clean up your own messes, or we'll do it for you."
  • transitions. transitions are necessary to both werewolf and vampire lineage, and while this is honored, the council will ensure this power is not abused. creating mass new-bloods will wreck havoc on the county, and leave all supernaturals vulnerable. once a vampire or werewolf has begun a human's transition, they are now the character's responsibility to ensure they do not cause irreparable damage.
THE COUNCIL MEMBERS
each supernatural creature has two representatives selected from their population to become council members. staff selects an active character from each creature and will send out a formal invitation to join the council through the council subaccount! characters may elect to accept or decline this invitation. characters are selected based on activity and a roleplayer's work put into that character- these characters may not always be a respectable and great choice for becoming a council member, as this will help stir up plots, so as long as you maintain a character's activity and put forth effort, your character may just receive an invitation in their mailbox!

  • vampires currently, there are no representatives on council for the vampire community. the last two members conspired against the council alongside the witches, and were removed. the council is seeking two new representatives!
  • werewolves currently, there are no representatives on council for the werewolf community after both stepped down!
  • witches currently, there are no representatives on council for the witch community. the last two members conspired against the council alongside the vampires, and were removed. the council is seeking two new representatives!
  • alatusi currently, there are no representatives on council for the alatusi community!
